DRILLING SUPERVISOR (DS/ID-15212)
POSITION PURPOSE:
The Drilling Supervisor is responsible for coordination of drilling programs
ROLES:
- Supervise the safety of all personal and machinery involved in all day to day operations.
- Supervise nippleing up of well head and BOP’S and also casing leak of testsw.
- Direct supervision and successful implementation of all drilling operations in accordance with good industry practice
- Monitor and report non-productive time, investigate and implement improvements to minimise non-productive time and total well drilling/completion times
- Supervise work over and work over fishing operation
- Supervise well head and surface facility’s installations
- Monitor well equipment
- Supervise the lay down Aera and workshop state of neatness and tideness
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum Bachelor Degree in Petroleum, Geologist, Mechanical
- Minimum 10 years of drilling experiences in oil and gas/mining industry
- Industry specific courses and training such as Blow Out Prevention and Well Control Certificate, Permit to Work
- Senior first aid certificate
- Self-motivated, team work oriented, able to work under tight schedules.
- This position will require at field work back to back by the incumbent
