SENIOR MINING ENGINEER
Responsibilities
Carry out full range of engineering functions including:
- Assessing the commercial viability of new mining ventures with the goal of maximizing revenue
- Undertaking feasibility studies
- Modeling/designing potential mine sites
- Preparing plans for mines (short & long term)
- Overseeing major construction projects and ensuring that operations are functioning smoothly
- Overseeing staff activities on the mining site
- Ensuring the safety of mining equipment & assessing mine equipment supplies
- Costing and scheduling supplies
- Overseeing the health and safety of the site
- Providing consultancy and advice on mining and mineral extraction projects
- Managing monthly budgets and keeping detailed records.
- Male, age 35- 48, with 10 years experience in mining industry (preferably bauxite) with at least 3 years managerial position in mining company
- Minimum of bachelor degree from reputable university mining/geology degree
- Teamworking skills and ability to manage and motivate people
- Project management skills,analytical and problem solving skills
- Good communication skills
- Time management and planning skills, and ability to prioritise workload
- Able to control and manage financial budget
- Computer skills and familiar with mining software
- Located in Kalimantan Barat
