PURCHASING

Responsibilities :

• To be responsible for the area of direct material sourcing and supplies for material
• Experience in dealing and selecting leading vendors, both domestically and internationally
• To develop relationships with the supliers, to negotiate for the best price possible, payment terms, quality and to ensure that all terms and conditions meet with our requirements
• To enchange supply oppurtunities, cost reduction awareness and working capital improvement
• Liaise with Accounts Payable in regards to supplier invoices and payment issues
• Monitoring of statistical data on inventory status
• Prepare Purchase Orders, maintenance of purchase orders files, invoices and related purchasing records
• Coordinate the preparation of purchase orders based on approved requisitions
• Ensure the verification of invoices againts original orders to ascertain compliance with all the conditions of purchase prior to payment

Requirements :

• Degree in relevant qualification. Min 1 year experience at supervisor level in Packaging and Logistic
• Have experience in logistic of screen printing or similar fields would be a plus
• Strong knowledge about ISO 9001 and experience in logistics management, project management, project life cycles, warehouse management system, etc
• Fluent in spoken & written English is a must, fluent in spoken & written Mandarin is a plus
• Dynamic, resourceful, self-motivated, action-focused, a tough negotiator and result oriented
• Be in a team player, but able to work independently. Meticulous, organized, able to multi-task
• Ability to be proactive in identifying areas improvement
• Computer literate and internet savvy
• Able to start immediately or short notice
