Surveyor Geologist (Sv GEO) - Jakarta
(Jakarta/Kalsel)
Responsibilities:
- Reporting to the Engineering Section Head, the Surveyor Geologist will
- Identify and assess potential geological structures and geotechnical hazards
- Monitor coal quality and liaise with coal quality geologists to ensure maximum coal yield
- Provide reliable geological and geotechnical advice to planning team and operational personnel (highway mapping and projections, updating geological models, reports for strip summaries)
- Overall database management and validation
- Computer modelling of data and seams, resource estimation, database maintenance and review
Requirements:
- Ideal candidate should be a degree qualified Mine Geologist, with proven min 3 years of experience in open cut coal mines will be required.
- Experience in minescape, surfpac and estimation will be highly regarded
- Proficient in English and Bahasa Indonesia language
- Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Engineering (Mining/Mineral) or equivalent.
