We are the manufacturer and distributor of the ‘MML’ brand of homogeneous porcelain and ceramic tiles. In line with our business expansion plans, we are seeking a highly motivated, capable and resourceful Malaysian to join our team for the following position :
AREA MANAGER (Based in Indonesian)
Responsibilities:
- Collate relevant data in respect of product, pricing and distribution in Indonesia and propose recommendations to HQ in order to formulate appropriate strategies for decision making
- Establish a strong and comprehensive distribution network in both retail and projects market in Indonesia
- Identify and develop full scale project specification
- Work closely with specifiers to develop effective and comprehensive MMB specifications proposal for each project with the ultimate objective of getting our products specified successfully
- Monitor, facilitate and follow up with all parties to complete supply to specified products
- Track and anticipate project progress and deliverables; identify potential crisis and devise contingency plans
- Provide professional consultation in respect of installation, care and maintenance to customers
- Attend, investigate complaint and propose solutions to HQ for resolution with customers
- Furnish weekly progress reports towards key sales objectives and key marketing functions
Requirements:
Degree in International Marketing/Business Administration/Commerce or related disciplines.
At least 3 - 5 years’ working experience in export of building materials and ceramic tiles business will be an added advantage
Possess excellent leadership and analytical skills
Must possess excellent negotiation and interpersonal skills combined with initiative and ability to work independently.
Possess excellent command of English, both verbal and written for effective communication skills
Willing to travel extensively
