Sales Manager

Currently  we are looking for dedicated and dynamic individual to join our team as Sales Manager.

Job Purpose:

  • Leading and managing the sales force to achieve sales, market share and profit targets. Developing Area Managers competencies in coaching Medical Representatives to positively influence customer's prescribing behavior.

Major Accountabilities:

I. Regional Sales Achievement (Weight : 50%)

  •     Based on corporate objective setting national sales and resources budget (human and financial)
  •     Communicate clear vision / POA, field tactics and objective to the sales force for the promoted product group
  •     Ensure establishment of Sales Force Effectiveness monitoring system correlating potential for business, investment of activities & result achieved
  •     Regulary (weekly and monthly) reviewed achievement of regional sales against target and initiate appropriate action to ensure performance is in line with objective

II. Coaching and Team Development (Weight : 20%)

  •     Provide coaching to Area Managers in order to develop their competencies ability to positively influence Medical Representatives.
  •     Provide team training as required to address collective development need for Area Managers within the team
  •     Rapidly back-fill any Medical Representative vacancies with competent new hires following HR recruitment policies
  •     Actively manage performance within the team : Identify-retain good performance-key talents and develop performance improvement plan (PIP) following with a submission for consistent poor performance to a lever process
  •     Consult the National Sales Manager on poor performance and related disciplinary matters
  •     Develop and implement strategies to drive and motivate team

III. Customer Focus and Service (Weight : 10%)

  •     Regional customer database and target segmentation updated continously
  •     Maintain contact and relationship with key customers
  •     Area Managers monitored to delivered promotional messages within approved detailed aids and alignment with marketing strategy / POA
  •     Ensure that Area Managers understand and comply with SP3 / Sandoz policy
  •     Leverage KPDM (key person decision makers) relationship to gain market intelligence and to assist successful standardization
  •     Monitor stock at regional level distribution and give advice related to customer inventories

IV. Reporting and Administration (Weight : 10%)

  •     Submit Sales Manager monthly and weekly report in line with deadline and intended action plan to improve performance
  •     Monitor Area Managers compliance and on-time regular report submission to ensure relevance and implementation of the intended action
  •     Distribute and ensure comprehensive key report (Sales Force Effectiveness, Dashboard, etc) for the Area Managers
V. Personal Development (Weight : 10%)

  •     Develop behaviors leading to enhance effectiviness as outline in Area Managers competencies definitions
  •     Communicate, develop and be a role model of Sandoz culture and leadership behaviours
  •     Develop individual and team accountability
  •     Identify areas for self-development and discuss development need with National Sales Manager
  •     Attend & actively participate in management events / meetings / discussions and trainings


Requirements :

Education

  •     Bachelor degree in any field, preferably life-science related.

Experience

  •     At least 2 years experience as Area Manager role in a multinational pharmaceutical organization
