We are looking for a strategic and motivated Busniess Development Manager to join our dynamic team. For this position, you will require a strong performer in an IT sales role wanting to take hold of their career and move it to the next level.
Business Development Manager

Responsibilities:

  • Convert sales opportunities into new sales revenue in accordance with agreed sales targets.
  • Sell Tectura’s products and services directly to clients primarily via face-to-face contact.
  • Assist management in devising direct sales plans and strategies.
  • Provide accurate forecasts and pipeline data on a regular basis.
  • Conduct marketing/sales activities including seminars/briefing sessions to generate new business.
  • Perform sales demonstrations and presentations.
  • Manage and generate responses to RFP/RFI and tenders to coordinate pre-sales resource engagement.
  • Develop, maintain and work a contact database including the fostering of relationships with business influencers such as partners, associates, industry organisations and attending appropriate networking functions.
Knowledge and skills:

  • At least 3 to 5 years of experience in Enterprise Solution Sales, Presales or Consulting with a desire to develop long term professional sales career in the ERP space
  • Preferably with good domain knowledge of Manufacturing and Retail.
  • Proven record of meeting or exceeding your sales targets.
  • Well-developed qualification and closing techniques in your current sales environment.
  • Experienced in selling at executive management level.
  • Strong verbal communication skills, particularly in formal presentation scenarios.
  • Drive, energy and the ability to learn a new product in a new space.
  • Passion and commitment to succeed in a competitive market.
  • Strong team player and ability to work closely with the Delivery Team
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong time management and prioritisation skills.
